The Clinical Data Manager is required to manage clinical research data in department of Clinical Research studies. He or she is responsible for the updating, maintenance and validation of clinical study databases and for the provision of computerized reports of these data.

He or she is a key member of the clinical project team and should be able to prioritize work in line with project management decisions. The responsibilities of the Clinical Data Manager is to manage clinical trials through review, , cleaning and auditing of clinical data and data bases in compliance with standard operating procedures, client guidelines and regulatory agency guidelines.

This position reports to: The VP Clinical Operations & Quality Compliance

Responsibilities:
The main responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:

  • Review, analyze, and validate clinical trial data to ensure consistency, integrity and accuracy based on project specific guidelines
  • Review and approve CRF design, data review ground rules and database design according to Standard Operating procedures and protocol
  • Assist in standardizing data management procedures such as documentation for departmental operating procedures
  • Develop and maintain documentation and data management guidelines
  • Maintain clinical trial data accuracy through review of case report forms for completeness and consistency
  • Assist in the development and implementation of strategy for data cleaning and in the design and programming of clinical databases
  • Query data inconsistencies and revise case report forms in compliance with standard operating procedures, client guidelines and regulatory agency guidelines
  • Generate data retrievals and summaries

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in scientific or relevant discipline
  • At least 4 years of experience in the Clinical Research Industry and Clinical Data Management.
  • Knowledge of relevant GCP regulations and pertinent ICH guidelines
  • Strong interest in clinical research and have an affinity with working with databases
  • Experience with biopharmaceutical company, CRO or academic setting
  • Experience with clinical trial electronic data capture systems and processes is an asset
  • Experience with clinical drug development process and knowledge of FDA regulatory requirements
  • Experience with multi-site and multiple clinical trials supply support globally

Eclipse has adopted a global adverse event processing and analysis platform. We are seeking people to join our team with proven experience in Argus configuration and knowledge of drug safety solutions and processes.

The successful candidate will build a team and infrastructure for the maintenance and management of our global Argus drug safety platform. This position is focused on Argus, but will include activities associated with the end-to-end solution ( i.e. reporting, E2B, system interfaces.) The ideal candidate will have an understanding of drug safety as well as a strong understanding of the limitations and capabilities of the Argus system enabling them to lead and complete assigned activities with minimal supervision.

The role will focus not only on adjusting configuration of existing environments but will also support new customers joining our platform. Contribution to the preparation of detailed specifications that reflect the configuration requirements will be a key responsibility along with input into program design, coding, testing, debugging, and documentation. The role will also have post-production responsibilities providing support and advice to customers on their configuration requirements and enhancements. To this end experience in a client facing position would be an advantage.

Must be willing to travel up to 40%

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as technical configuration expert for the product support team
  • Contribution to design, development, implementation, and maintenance plans for new and existing clients
  • Interaction with project team members to help develop timelines and deliverables
  • Development, configuration, testing, and documentation of components in accordance with standards and validation procedures
  • Performs peer review of work produced by other team members
  • Input and review of system development and configuration work with regard to standards and validation procedures
  • Troubleshooting and support of configuration issues reported in the production environment

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Knowledge of the clinical drug development industry, procedures/processes, and regulatory standards desirable

  • Proficiency in related, underlying technologies, including SQL, Oracle, XML, and integration technologies and standards
  • Hardware/software/infrastructure setup and testing
  • Possess a working knowledge in software development tools, practices, and lifecycle methodologies.
  • Possess good organizational and communication skills.
  • Experience with producing documentation in a regulatory-compliant (life sciences) environment
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks
  • 3 or more years of professional relevant experience

The Software Product Manager is responsible for the strategic direction of the Eclipse IRT product, and tactical definition of releases for the individual products. The IRT Product Manager role involves working closely with Sales, Business Groups, Technical Support, and Development to define and execute the product software strategy, feature/release content and roadmap, and go-to-market plans in a dynamic multi-product and multi-release environment.  Responsibilities include Research and Analysis, Product Marketing and Client and End-user support.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Research and Analysis:

  • Gather and prioritize product feature requirements with inputs from various stakeholders including: Marketing & Sales, Support, Development, Clients and Industry thought leaders
