Oracle is about to release InForm 7.0.

Let’s discuss what this means and the new updates that will occur after it is released.
In previous releases all items within a dynamic grid were read-only. With the new update InForm will support editable items that do not have a separate source within a dynamic grid. These editable items can be mapped within Central Designer. This way, InForm Publisher can send them to Argus Safety. Signatures were available only at the CRF and casebook levels in previous releases, though with this new release users with signature rights within InForm (investigators) can now sign at the visit level in addition to the already existing CRF and casebook levels.

The InForm 7.0 installation components are:
InForm Core (mandatory):
• InForm Adapter
• InForm Publisher
• Data Export
• Data Import
• Performance Monitor
• InForm Portal

No longer is the InForm Sample Study Files and Sample Study section a part of the core installation. This InForm release will now support Oracle Database Standard Edition 2 (ver. 19.22) for on-premises installations.
InForm will also support editable items that do not have a separate source within a dynamic grid, these editable items can also be mapped within Central Designer. This way, InForm Publisher can send them to Argus Safety.

Data will be filtered in the dynamic grid popup based on:
• Code list values (the display value in the user interface)
• Data ranges (Start and end dates)
