Eclipse is hosting a Coding Webinar: The ABC’s of ATC Coding, featured panelist, Timothy Withington on May 26th, 2016 at 3:00PM EST. The webinar will discuss the Anatomical Therapeutic Chemical (ATC) classification system has become the benchmark for international drug utilization research and should be considered when selecting coding software. Eclipse Coding Solution provides multi-trial, multi-center connectivity in a SAS environment and allows efficient management of coding across global trials and is certified by Uppsala Monitoring Center. We will be examining the benefits and key features of the WHO Drug Dictionary and ATC coding via the Eclipse Coding system. We will also conduct a brief demonstration of our Eclipse Coding capabilities. What exactly are the benefits of a superior ATC coding system and what does it mean for Medical Coding? The coding process can be daunting, time-consuming and ultimately a costly process. With eclipse Coding, Sponsors and CROs have the benefit of reviewing, resolving and approving coded terms in a highly efficient way. ATC coding and the WHO Drug Dictionary provides interactive reporting screens for coding classification, coded items, approved items and multiple workflow steps. Attend this webinar to learn the benefits of ATC Coding and how it can help you by allowing coding, term and dictionary upgrades within an active study- code to multiple dictionaries concurrently. Sponsors and CROs will have the benefit of reviewing, resolving and approving coded terms in a highly efficient way through streamlining this process to reduce errors. Attend this webinar for a live discussion on the effective utilization of the Eclipse Coding system and learn more about how ATC coding can significantly reduce manual coding efforts for leading dictionaries with customized algorithms, synonym lists and rule-based propagation functions and learn about role-based authorization matrix for users with manifested hierarchies for approval workflow and overrides. Receive knowledge that will act as a guideline for what you should expect from a Coding system and see a demo on the key features of Eclipse ATC coding.
Timothy Withington: Mr. Withington has over 19 years of experience in the clinical safety and clinical data management matrix environment. His career has been dedicated to Medical Coding and being a Subject Matter Expert in the use and deployment of MedDRA and WHO Drug. He currently leads the coding product feature requirements and development. Tim has previously worked for three top pharmaceutical companies as well as having created and managed a clinical coding group for a large CRO.
