Eclipse, a clinical technology provider of healthcare software solutions, received a Phase I Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) grant in the amount of US $150,000 from the Department of Defense (DOD).

This grant will fund the development of a conceptual framework of new technologies or methods aimed at reducing the medical impact on military tactical networks derived from the transmission of digital medical imagery.

“We are excited about this Phase I SBIR award from the DOD, as it points to the significance of the technology we are developing,” stated Leslie Bihari, Jr., eclipse President & CEO. “Our proprietary approach is ideal to meet the data compression needs, while retaining diagnostic quality of the medical image.
